Openfort integrates with Kroma

Openfort has integrated with Kroma, a Layer 2 network that uses Zero-Knowledge (ZK) fault proofs to ensure security and scalability. This integration allows developers on Kroma to use our smart account infrastructure to provide a seamless experience for their players.

What is the Kroma Integration?

Kroma is an EVM-equivalent rollup built to make blockchain interactions faster and cheaper. By supporting Kroma, Openfort enables game studios to offer gasless transactions and account abstraction to their users. Developers can now use our smart accounts to remove the technical hurdles of Web3, allowing players to focus on gameplay without worrying about gas fees or complex wallet setups.

By using Kroma's high-speed infrastructure and Openfort's account abstraction, developers can design custom user journeys that feel like traditional Web2 apps.

Kroma is an Optimistic Rollup with ZK Fault Proofs, with a permissionless validator set. Kroma's ultimate goal is to transition to an EVM-equivalent ZK Rollup as the generation of ZK proofs becomes more cost-efficient and faster.

Looking Forward

This collaboration benefits both pioneers in the decentralized space and traditional platforms by offering adaptability, customization, and swift integration.
