This is a curated lineup of consumer-facing stablecoin apps worth knowing in 2026 — mobile-first products that end users open today to hold, send, earn or spend digital dollars. Each entry is a short feature spotlight, not a comparison: every app does something distinctive, and the goal here is to surface what that is.
For the developer-side architecture under these apps, see How to build a fintech app with stablecoin payments.

A note for developers building consumer stablecoin apps
The hardest part of building a stablecoin app is the wallet under the stablecoin. A bad wallet UX kills a fintech product before the rails matter.
Openfort gives you the wallet primitives, and Canigó's stack lists Openfort as one of its integrations.
- Embedded wallets with email, social or passkey login — users sign up like any consumer fintech and receive a non-custodial wallet on the chain you choose. Cover EVM and Solana from one identity.
- ERC-4337 and EIP-7702 smart accounts so a USDC transfer is one signed UserOperation, regardless of approve / send / settle complexity.
- Gas sponsorship so users never need to hold ETH, MATIC or SOL. Useful for consumer fintechs where "go buy gas first" breaks onboarding. See account abstraction.
- Backend wallets for treasury, payouts and automated stablecoin disbursement.
- Bridge and orchestration patterns documented in How to build a fintech app with stablecoin payments.
- Open-source signer (OpenSigner) — self-hostable for teams operating under MiCA, US payment stablecoin rules, or other regimes that require auditable signing.
Read the Openfort docs to wire this up, or talk to the team if your stablecoin product needs help with a specific rail integration.
