An operation is a billable action, not an API request. Creating a wallet, signing, broadcasting a transaction, evaluating a policy, exporting or importing a key, creating or revoking a session, and each delivered webhook count as 1 operation each. Sign-ins, authentication, gas estimation, paymaster calls, transaction status reads, and dashboard analytics are free and unmetered.

Projects without a paid subscription stop at the included limit: requests that would create a billable operation return 402 Payment Required until you upgrade. Sign-ins, reads, and other unmetered actions keep working. On a paid plan nothing blocks — operations beyond the included amount are billed as overage at your plan's per-operation rate. Rate limiting is separate: it returns 429 and is retryable.
